Thai Japanese Association School

Thai Japanese Association School is a private Japanese curriculum school in Huai Khwang District, Bangkok, operated by the Thai Japanese Association since the 1950s. It serves elementary and lower secondary levels, from Grade 1 to Grade 9, and enrolls more than two thousand students, making it one of the largest Japanese schools outside Japan. The school admits children who hold Japanese nationality and delivers the standard Japanese course of study in the Japanese language, so that families who relocate to Thailand can keep their children's education in line with schools in Japan. Classes cover core academic subjects, homeroom and club activities in a familiar format for Japanese families, and students take part in large scale events such as sports festivals and cultural programs. The Bangkok campus is linked with Thai Japanese Association School Sriracha, and the organisation maintains strong ties with Japanese community groups and businesses active in Thailand.
