About the role
Teach English to elementary students at Sangmyeong Elementary School, a distinguished private school in Nowon-gu, northeastern Seoul. Positions include a full-time one-year contract and several six-month maternity/paternity leave roles. You will join a collaborative English department with shared resources and clear curricula.
Responsibilities
- Teach engaging, student-centred English lessons to elementary students.
- Foster a positive, respectful classroom atmosphere.
- Work closely with Korean and foreign colleagues to support student growth.
- Communicate with team leaders and participate in school-wide programs.
Schedule
- Working hours: Monday–Friday, 08:30–16:30.
- Full-time contract: March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2027.
- Six-month contracts: March 1, 2026 – late August 2026 (exact end date TBD).
Benefits
- Salary range: 2.6–3.0 million KRW per month before tax (based on experience and qualifications).
- Monthly housing allowance: 600,000 KRW.
- Severance pay after completion of a one-year contract.
- National health insurance and pension (50/50 contribution).
- Up to 6 weeks of paid vacation.
Requirements
- Native English speaker (E-2 or F-series visa holder).
