About the role
Hillside Collegiate Wirye Campus in Songpa, Seoul is seeking a full time ESL teacher to join its activity-based elementary program. The school uses a comprehensive curriculum that integrates textbooks, workbooks and hands-on learning to support diverse learning styles.
Responsibilities
- Teach ESL classes using the school’s activity-based curriculum and integrated materials.
- Design and adapt lesson plans to meet student needs while following the overall curriculum framework.
- Participate in a structured educational calendar including a minimum of two field trips per month.
- Lead or support outdoor classes utilizing the school garden and facilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues, team leaders and management to support student progress and a positive school culture.
- Attend orientation, training and mentoring sessions as required.
Schedule
- Working hours: 8:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
- No Saturday work.
- All red days and substitute red days are off.
- Summer vacation: 6 weekdays.
- Winter vacation: 6 weekdays.
- Position start date: March 3, 2026.

Requirements
- Eligible for an E-2 or F visa from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Ireland or the United States.
- Bachelor degree (or higher).
- Native English proficiency.
- Preference for teachers currently residing in Korea, but visa assistance may be provided for strong candidates.
