History / Social Studies Teacher

About the role

Teach History and Social Studies following the school's philosophy and Core American Standards Curriculum. Support student learning through effective instruction, curriculum adherence and positive classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct instruction and supervise students.
• Teach assigned classes diligently following prescribed curriculum.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in parent conferences and staff meetings.
• Support student activities and after-school clubs.
• Uphold school values and promote respect, responsibility and positive moral principles.
• Collaborate with staff in curriculum development and school initiatives.
• Supervise students during class, breaks, dismissal and other duties.
• Maintain professional competence through training and courses.

Schedule

• Full-time, starting August 2026.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in History or Secondary Education (History/Social Studies).
• Valid teaching license.
• 1–2 years experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
• Strong knowledge of teaching strategies and classroom management.
