Kindergarten, Primary & Secondary Teachers (Multiple Cities in China)

About the role

Teach in international and public schools across multiple cities in China through China Meiyuan Academy. Positions include kindergarten homeroom teachers, primary homeroom and subject teachers, middle and high school English, Biology, Chemistry, History and Science teachers, IELTS teachers, PE, PYP homeroom teachers and other subject roles.

Responsibilities

• Teach your subject or homeroom class at kindergarten, primary, middle or high school level depending on placement.
• Prepare and deliver lessons in line with school curriculum requirements.
• Assess student learning and provide feedback.
• Support student development and classroom management.
• Participate in school activities and professional duties as required.

Schedule

• Full-time positions with standard school hours (exact hours vary by school and city).
• Contracts generally include fully paid summer and winter holidays for many positions.
• Start dates from ASAP through February/March/August 2026 depending on role and location.

Benefits

• Typical salary range: 20,000–30,000 CNY per month (some roles from 16,000 up to 40,000 CNY depending on city, subject and experience).

Requirements

• Native English speaker from USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, New Zealand (some roles also accept South Africa).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant major.
• Typically 2+ years relevant teaching experience (some positions require 3+ years or specific PYP experience).
• Teaching license preferred for many school-based roles.
• For some posts, candidates must already be inside China.
