About the role

The Jataka School seeks an experienced Early Years Teacher to join our founding team in Thailand. The school emphasizes play-based learning grounded in the ‘Birth to 5 Matters’ guidance, integrating Buddhist Education and Learning Outside the Classroom programs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with co-homeroom teachers for English and Mandarin instruction on a Day A/B schedule.
  • Support child-initiated learning and maintain a low student-teacher ratio.
  • Plan and deliver activities in various learning areas including cooking, gardening, and arts.
  • Contribute to a Buddhist-based education model promoting mindfulness, joy, and curiosity.

Schedule

  • Full-time, fixed-term contract beginning August 2026.

Requirements
