About the role
Taipei Language Institute (TLI) seeks full-time English teachers to support the Taipei City ETA Project at elementary and junior high schools. Teachers assist local staff, design engaging activities, and foster a relaxed, natural English environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist local teachers across subjects and create an English-rich classroom.
 - Design and implement engaging learning activities; support English Corner events.
 - Manage classrooms effectively; maintain discipline and rapport.
 - Attend TLI trainings/meetings; follow host school policies and TLI supervisor guidance.
 - Participate in observations and periodic performance evaluations.
 
Schedule
- Mon–Fri, full availability 08:00–17:00 (exact times per school).
 - Up to 20 teaching hours/week; on-campus presence during working hours.
 - No on-site service during winter/summer vacations.
 - Target start: October 2025; 1-year contract.
