Key tasks
- Plan and deliver lively, project-based English lessons for children aged 3-12, using the school’s curriculum and materials.
- Integrate songs, stories, science, cooking, crafts and outdoor play to spark curiosity and build real-world language.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans, homework, progress checks and brief progress reports for parents.
- Differentiate activities to support individual learning needs and manage a safe, encouraging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, attend paid training sessions and participate in school events and field trips.
- Maintain professional communication with parents, colleagues and administrators.
Requirements
- Native English speaker with a bachelor’s degree (any major).
- At least some experience teaching or working with children (3-12).
- Patient, energetic and creative; able to lead hands-on activities.
- Able to arrive in Taiwan by August 2025 and commit through the school year.
Salary
• Up to NT$75,000 per month -or- up to NT$800 per teaching hour (based on qualifications & experience)
Workload
• Monday–Friday 09:00 – 18:00 (1.5-h lunch)
• Homeroom & rotating theme classes; max 15 students per group
