Job Description
- Deliver lively, communicative English lessons that follow Gini’s elementary syllabus.
- Incorporate songs, phonics games, reading tasks and project work to keep learners engaged.
- Mark homework, track progress on the centre’s tablet system and give brief oral feedback to parents.
- Liaise with the academic supervisor to adjust pacing and classroom management strategies.
- Uphold a positive, encouraging environment where every child feels confident to speak.
Requirements
- Native-English passport holder (US, CA, UK, IE, AU, NZ, SA).
- Legally able to take part-time work in Taiwan (ARC with open work rights, spousal ARC, APRC, Taiwanese ID, or student ARC with work permit).
- Bachelor’s degree (any major).
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA or ≥1 year elementary-level teaching experience preferred.
- Punctual, enthusiastic and comfortable managing young learners.
Job Location
Main teaching venue: Gini Education Classroom, Gushan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan
Specific branch & timetable arranged to match teacher availability and student demand.
Salary
NT $620+ per teaching hour (final rate set according to experience & credentials)
Workload
- Classes arranged weekday afternoons / early evenings and/or Saturdays.
- Schedules built around your stated availability; minimum 4 hrs/week typical.
- Each lesson = 50 minutes; max 12–15 students, ages 7-12.
