About the role

Aclipse is recruiting English teachers for nationwide placements across South Korea (Pre-K through high school). No prior teaching experience required—training is provided on arrival. Positions are year-long and use smart classroom technology.

Responsibilities

• Teach English classes appropriate to assigned age group and level.
• Prepare lessons and use provided curricula and e-learning tools.
• Assess student progress and maintain class records.
• Collaborate with school staff and participate in training.

Schedule

• Full-time, 12-month contract; exact hours vary by placement and campus.

Compensation

• Monthly salary: 2,500,000–4,000,000 KRW (2.5–3.3M with free housing; 3.1–4.0M with no housing).
• Completion bonus: 1 month salary upon contract completion.
• Pension & medical: 50/50 employer contribution.
• Airfare reimbursement up to 1,200,000 KRW.
• Option: Free furnished housing or housing deposit + higher pay.
• Visa processing and sponsorship provided.
• Paid vacation; opportunities for advancement (HR/Training, Curriculum, Biz Dev/Marketing).

Requirements

• 4-year Bachelor’s degree.
• Citizenship from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, or South Africa.
• Clear background check; 1-year contract commitment.
• ESL/EFL/TEFL/TESOL experience not required (any teaching experience welcome).
