About the role

Tonkla School (private) in Chiang Mai seeks a Head of English Department to lead curriculum and instructional quality for the English program. This full-time leadership role oversees teaching and learning for early years and primary/elementary levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the English department: curriculum planning, sequencing, and quality assurance.
• Mentor and support teachers; coordinate professional development.
• Oversee assessment, data tracking, and reporting on student progress.
• Ensure effective ESL methodologies are implemented across classes.
• Collaborate with school leadership and communicate with parents/stakeholders.

Schedule

• Full-time, on-campus; standard school hours (details provided during interview).

Benefits

• Salary: 60,000 THB per month.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of international school teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s in Education, TESOL, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Previous leadership experience in curriculum development.
• Strong ESL methodology knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Native English speaker preferred.
